DigiPen welcomes participants from anywhere in the world, provided that they can participate in activities based on the local time (Pacific Time).  Here's an overview of the schedule with more details about guest speakers/mentors/social activities to be added at a later time:

Team Formation via Discord: bring your own team, pair people up, or pitch an idea for others to join. We recommend 4-5 on a team.

5pm – Jammers have pitches in Discord 

7pm – Reviewed all pitches and identified your preferred team

8pm – Teams will be finalized 

Jan. 29-31 (Fri. -Sun. )

Jammers work on their games and have Special Guests and Check-Ins who can help play test, provide advice/guidance. Examples of the type of mini-lecture topics, include: rapid prototyping guidance, narrative help, and testing.
